Thank You to the community, parents, students, and friends for helping to make the Fall Festival and Haunted Trail successful for the Junior Paws and our school.  We would also like to extend a special thank you to our Junior Paws parents, they did an awesome job. These dedicated parents and friends work diligently to make this a great success.  We do appreciate the long hours you dedicated to the Fall Festival and Haunted Trail.

The 7th grade is beginning The Water Project on Monday, 10/20. For two weeks the students and teachers of the 7th grade will be participating in a challenge to raise money and awareness for the water crisis in Sudan, a topic we have been studying for the past month. The challenge asks students to only drink water for two weeks and donate the money they save on beverages (soda, juice, etc.) to the cause. Students and teachers will be wearing blue wristbands to show that they are participating and to spread awareness about this global issue.

The Craven County Schools in conjunction with the Partners In Education (PIE) are conducting a book drive for new and gently used books for Preschool -12 grade.  Books can be dropped off at the Books-A-Million store in New Bern or at your local school.  The book drive will run from November 3 through November 7.  We are looking for books appropriate for our students, pre-school through grade 12.
